In any case I would not recommend this kind of cameras to serious work or even party cameras, because they have a serious lack of sensitivity. Still they have a niche of their own. Some sunny day I might take the device apart and change the original lense to something better. Even the bottom of a beer bottle might make better pictures.
One funny thing is that if you install this miniII to WinXP, you can find in
MyComputer a line 'Dual-Mode DSC(2770) #2' (DSC = Digital Still Camera ?).
If you click it, you get a moving picture. I have not managed to get a
similar with any other camera or scanner.
Allthough you get here a
moving picture, I have not managed to make it work with Skype or MSM.
Last week I found the device but not papers, packages or CDs. So it was as
useless as any piese of electronics nowadays. Still I wanted to make some
tries with it and found the drivers in the network from DigitalDream.
It seems that this camera has been sold with endles variety of names like
l'espiona, Innovage, 'Smart Mini Digital Camera', 'Mini Digi Cam'....
It seems that this cute small thing comes from some of the
counless Chinese manufacturers.
